Rick Amos

Rick Amos

Ricky Charles Amos

  |  Ricky Rick was born in Arkansas November 11, 1949 and left us too soon on June 28, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marla; his daughter, Nikole (Jerry); his son, Charlie (Rosaleen); his brother, Mike (Jeanie); his sister, Sue Kimbler (George) and Donna Miller (Fred); grandchildren, Roman, Riley, Sareniah, Kaylei, Braden and Chloe. Rick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He touched so many lives in his 60 years and we are all deeply saddened to have lost such a great man. He gave so much of his life to others and loved unconditionally. Thinking of him brings such warmth and happiness to us all and we are all blessed to have known him and had him as part of our lives. We are comforted to know that he is no longer in pain and is not suffering from the various crosses that he carried and accepted so honorably. We love you, Rick and will miss you each and every day. A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, July 1, 2010 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Baldrick's.

I am so sad to know that Ricky is gone, the first time I was on a motorcyle was with Ricky, we went to Sabina Canyon with a bunch of kids from school.  it was one of the best memories I have from High School.  He is with the Savior know and we will find comfort in the fact that we will see him again.
